Just a quick update: Things are going great so far. We had a little scare at the doctor’s office last Friday where Baby B’s heart rate dropped during monitoring. Leslie was monitored for another few hours and it turned out to be a false alarm. Whew! We both experienced all kinds of wild emotions we have never felt before.
The visit served as a wake-up call and that we really could go in at any moment now. Most twins are born 36-38 weeks.
The little guys are getting stronger and stronger! You could almost arm wrestle with them right now. At night Leslie and I envision meeting and holding our little trouble makers and what they’re going to be like.
Leslie’s now reached the difficult part of being pregnant with twins, and nothing comes easy at this point. I only hope I can help her through this part of the journey and offer some comfort. I can’t help but feel I have it easy compared to what she’s going through.
Fingers crossed, we’re now ready for the final stretch!
Love,
Sasha
